SUSTAINABILITY

ETHICALLITY IS
AN ATTITUDE

Our mission is to replace 10 pieces of clothing with 1 high-quality piece that has consumed as few raw materials as possible while being friendly to the environment and people. Even at the end of its life it would not leave a longer mark than necessary.

Our vision is to become a fashion brand that is carbon neutral and has significantly reduced the carbon footprint of the textile industry and returned ethics to modern production, which has made it easier to produce, consume and throw away. But we are still a brand full of life.

WHAT CAN WE CONTRIBUTE TO BUY LESS AND PAY MORE?

Natural employment levels. However, foreign companies producing in developing countries can produce cheaper products only due to extremely low labor costs or non-compliance with environmental standards. Unfortunately, we cannot compete with this.

We would like to get long-lasting products of a completely different quality.

We would like to reduce waste from the textile industry by having people buy less and think more about how goods are handled thanks to higher prices, and therefore manufacturers would produce less.

The efficiency of companies posed for innovation. Businesses could have many more resources for better activities than pushing costs to a minimum.

The reduction of production volume with the same financial turnover (less raw materials for the same amount of money).

Extreme reduction in carbon footprint.

MATERIALS.

We primarily use materials such as cotton, linen or micromodal. We try to always only select materials with certificates and those with the smallest carbon footprint.

We also use all accessories from natural dyes (prints), cotton (placards) or carroza (buttons). We are not able to make some accessories more ecologically friendly (shorteners on bras) but we are currently working on this.

What else can you judge just by looking? It is important to look at a product and consider whether it is made of many different materials - laces, press studs, rubber, artificial labels, badges, or even different materials (for example: cotton, elastane, nylon). Such products are then practically non-recyclable.

Classic production radius

Cotton growing (for example, in Bangladesh)

7 500 km

Transport (for example, to Romania for processing into a finished material)

1 600 km

Transport (for example, to Italy for final treatment of the material and preparation for sale)

2 700 km

Transport (for example, to Turkey for sewing)

2 400 km

Transport of the finished product to the Czech Republic

7 000 km

Transport of packaging (for example, from China to the Czech Republic)

21 200 km

This is the distance normally traveled by one
textile product

OUR production radius

0 km

Transport within the Czech Republic for final treatment of the material and preparation for sale

Transport of the finished product within the Czech Republic

100 km

Transport of packaging from the Czech Republic

8 000 km

This is the distance that one of our products normally covers. Aside from the cultivation of the primary raw material (which is not possible in our country), the entire production chain is carried out with Czech suppliers on Czech territory. In addition, if we take into account that some of our suppliers grow cotton in Portugal, Spain or Turkey, then the production radius can be reduced to about 3,000 km.

TRANSPARENTLY PUBLISHED CERTIFICATES

Each product consists of several parts, and although we do not always have uniform certificates for our products, we transparently state which part of the product has which certificate.

BASIC PIECES DESIGNED TO LAST

We produce basic pieces for your everyday needs - so that they last and you don't have to buy so many of them. We use the highest quality materials and processes that ensure the durability of our products for several years. We focus on making our products fit you perfectly, getting used to them and being able to buy them regularly. This reduces the risk of bad purchases - these lead to a waste not only of material, but also of energy spent constantly searching for and testing new goods.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY.

We produce some products in TRULY protected workshops and we try to treat our suppliers and customers as fairly as possible. We are writing a blog about sustainability to educate readers to be part of the ecosystem for promoting sustainability, which has been gaining strength in recent years.

NO PLASTICS. TRULY RECYCLABLE PACKAGING.

We use only 100% paper, with natural cardboard and adhesives based on natural rubber. No lamination or hidden foils, which prevent boxes from rupturing more easily, but also prevent recycling.

YOUR MOMENTS CONCEPT.

In 2021, we introduced the Your Moments concept. Not only does it reveal the real behind the scenes of our real customers in their authentic environment, but it also aims to reduce our marketing expenses and create more room for investment in improving other processes. We would like to switch to the entire creation of our audiovisual content in this form.

NO MICROPLASTICS.
SAVE NATURE LESS BY WASHING.

Yes, we contribute to the spread of microplastics by frequent washing of products that contain plastic additives or products with plastic accessories.

Frequent washing causes another effect - water consumption and the release of other chemicals into circulation.

We try to contribute to everything by ensuring that our products do not contain any synthetic supplements. All our prints, labels and accessories are made of natural colors, cotton or, for example, carozza, all of which do not release microplastics. You can contribute by washing clothes less - only when they are dirty. Sometimes you just need to ventilate it.

Certificates.

Get to know terms like GOTS / BCorp / Oekotex / PETA.

You can learn more about certificates in our article here, however, it must be said here that we focus on selecting suppliers, manufacturers and products that meet and pay attention to these certificates. And we should all do that. Look for these logos on product packaging or points of sale.

RECYCLING & MINIMUM WASTE.

Don't need our product anymore? Please consider this and if you are 100% sure, put it in recyclable textile containers from companies such as Potex or others you have in your area.

And what do we do with leftovers? We try to use them to the max. That is why we are looking for products that we can make from leftover materials. This way you can now buy our sleeping masks and scented bags, which are created from the scraps of materials used to make underwear or bedding.

We also dedicate the leftover materials that we no longer consume to companies for further use - for example, for processing into fillings in the automotive industry.

WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT?

Huge water consumption (for cultivation and conversion to the final product)

Consumption of other raw materials (both primary such as cotton and secondary such as crude oil to transport through the whole chain)/p>

Generation of large amounts of waste (chemicals associated with the treatment of materials) Emissions from ubiquitous transport

Emise vynaložené na všudypřítomnou dopravu

High cost of space, machinery and labor

Costs associated with reducing emissions of the entire process

Recycling, landfill costs and associated environmental impact
